6yrs+ swimmers will start on STA's Octopus badges, 3 progressive awards designed specifically for over 5s to learn the essential swimming and water safety skills
The STA's Goldfish Awards have been designed for swimmers who have successfully completed the STAnley or Octopus awards
The STA's Angelfish Awards have been designed for swimmers who have successfully completed the Goldfish awards

Our 'Parent and Baby' classes are designed for 3m-3yrs and will follow STA's Starfish awards, designed to introduce little ones to the water with their accompanying adult to introduce water confidence and basic safety skills.
Babies are required to use a double nappy system.
